The University of Chester Church of England Academy offers 1350 places for 11 to 18 year olds. The Academy was opened in 2012, the building has new state of the art facilities
West Cheshire College has a brand new campus specialising in the creative and service industries right in the heart of the town. Phase one of the new 19,500 sq metre building with iconic rotunda shape opened in September 2011. The facility provides world-class learning in the areas of hospitality and catering, travel and tourism, hairdressing and beauty therapy, health and social care, childcare, sport and public services and the creative arts.
Learners and the wider community have access to services and facilities at both the Ellesmere Port and nearby Chester campuses, such as restaurants, cafés, a theatre, a fitness suite, shops and a spa, making West Cheshire College a vibrant and fun place to be. The college works in conjunction with Cheshire West and Chester Council to provide apprenticeship courses.
