Cheshire Oaks customers offered free jars of ‘traffic jam’ as months of roadworks come to an end
Cheshire Oaks Designer Outlet celebrated the end of six months of roadworks by offering customers a more enjoyable type of jam.
Staff from the centre thanked visitors for their patience by handing out free jars of three-coloured ‘Traffic Jam’.
The jam, layered in red, amber and green, was produced by Dart Valley Foods.
The recently completed roadworks were carried out to make access to Cheshire Oaks and surrounding retailers easier in the run-up to Christmas.
Deputy centre manager Mark Schofield said: “We are very grateful to our shoppers for their patience during the roadworks and hope this quirky gift of colourful traffic jam will start their day off with smile.
“While it’s been a long wait, we’re pleased that the roadworks have been completed in time for the Christmas rush.”
Anthony Clegg, manager of Sainsbury’s, said: “We’re pleased to welcome back lots of customers who may have found it difficult to access Cheshire Oaks over the past nine months.”
Cheshire Oaks’s extended Christmas opening hours begin on November 14. The centre will be open from 10am-9pm Monday to Friday, 9am-7pm on Saturdays and 10am-5pm on Sundays.
