Photographic Competition 2016 – I Love Ellesmere Port

1st July 2016 – I Love Ellesmere Port Photographic Competition 2016

A photo competition is taking place in Ellesmere Port and the winning entries will be displayed in a charity calendar on sale later this year.

Profits from the ‘I love Ellesmere Port’ calendar will go to Beat, the U.K.’s Eating Disorder Charity and the Mayor’s charity of choice, Councillor Peter Rooney.

Submit your work showing Ellesmere Port is a thriving place for residents, communities, and businesses alike. The organisers are hoping to get great images of Ellesmere Port showcasing what the town has to offer. Entries could include locations that show new building projects, popular events, or skilled workers in Ellesmere Port.

The Mayor of Ellesmere Port, Councillor Peter Rooney said: “Ellesmere Port has a vast diversity of landscape, flora and fauna, industrial, rural and urban.  With so many opportunities for great images to be captured and shared, get out and let’s show what this fantastic town of ours has to offer and let’s show why We Love Ellesmere Port.”

Email your entry to ellesmereportsp@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk and the deadline for the competition is 1st October 2016.
