Major works to improve and widen Ellesmere Port crossroad have begun
Major works to improve and widen Ellesmere Port crossroad have begun. The scheme will help the junction cope with growing traffic flow.
Major works to improve and widen the Whitby Road/Sutton Way/Stanney Lane junction in Ellesmere Port began on 13 February. The initial phase of construction will undertake carriageway widening and footway works on Whitby Road. Traffic management and disruption will be minimal during this phase and normal flow of traffic will be maintained. Starting on Monday, 13 February, the works, undertaken by BAM Nuttall, will last for approximately six months.
