1st November 2013 – 8.00am for 8.30am Wednesday 20th November 2013, Civic Hall, Ellesmere Port CH65 0AZ
You may be aware that the Cheshire and Warrington Local Enterprise Partnership (LEP) recently submitted an application to Government for Ellesmere Port to be granted Assisted Area status under the European Commission’s Regional Aid Guidelines for 2014-2020. We are pleased to confirm that the UK Government has welcomed the case for Ellesmere Port and agreed that this should be developed further by working closely with local business to support a formal application to the European Commission.
Assisted Area status provides an important opportunity for businesses in Ellesmere Port. The LEP in partnership with Cheshire West and Chester Council and the Ellesmere Port Development Board would like to invite businesses to join us to find out more and explore how businesses in Ellesmere Port could benefit from this, should our application be successful.
We would therefore be delighted if you could join us for breakfast sandwiches at 8.00am for 8.30am to 10.00am on Wednesday 20th November 2013 at the Civic Hall, Civic Way, Ellesmere Port, CH65 0AZ. Please could you register for the event via eventbrite (click here to register)
or by sending an email with your name and contact details to EllesmerePortSP@cheshirewestandchester.gov.uk
We do hope that you can join us at this important event, which will provide the opportunity for local businesses to help develop our case.

LEP Board Member Chair, Ellesmere Port Development Board
