YOUNG BUSINESSES INVITED TO ATTEND ELLESMERE PORT NETWORKING EVENT

1 May 2013

Thinking of starting a business, recently started one, or a young business trading for three years or less?

West Cheshire and North Wales Chamber of Commerce, Blue Orchid and the private sector are hosting a Business Enterprise Network event for local organisations across the borough, where entrepreneurs can meet like-minded people in an informal gathering.

Taking place at Stanlaw Abbey Business Centre in Ellesmere Port on Wednesday, 8 May from 10 to 11.30am the session is free to attend and includes a mix of informative, short presentations and business support content, as well as informal networking.

The session will also feature a presentation from Cheshire Oaks Retail Academy on ‘How retailers can compete in an increasingly online environment’.

Chairman of the Ellesmere Port Development Board, Robert Mee, said: “Creating new working partnerships and working collectively will not only ensure that business voices are heard when key local decisions are taken but will enable smaller, new businesses to strengthen and grow.

“It’s a great way for businesses to keep up to date with progress in their area, find out about the potential for business growth or simply make contacts and I would advise all new businesses within the area to attend.”

Enterprise Network events are held monthly across the borough, with a different business-led topic each time. To keep up to date with the programme you can ‘like us’ at http://www.facebook.com/businessRIC or ‘follow us’ at http://www.twitter.com/businessRIC.
