Do you have a talent? Would you like the chance to perform at various local events over the summer?

Mayor of Ellesmere Port, Councillor Pat Merrick is hosting the very first ‘Port’s Got Talent Night’ and is looking for local residents and community groups to showcase their talents at what promises to be a hugely entertaining evening.

Local residents are also invited to attend the event, taking place on Saturday 4 May at Whitby Sports and Social Club from 7.30pm, with an entrance fee of just £2.

Mayor of Ellesmere Port, Councillor Pat Merrick, said: “This is the first time an event such as this has been held in Ellesmere Port and I’m really looking forward to seeing the type of acts that enter.

“Each act will have the opportunity to share their talent, with the potential to win a cash prize and the opportunity to perform in shows being held locally over the summer.

“I would encourage anyone who thinks they have a talent they would like to share to book a slot in the evening and I hope many local residents attend what promises to be a great night.”

If you have an act and would like to perform please call 01244 977700 for an application form. All acts must be over 16 years old and entry fees are £5.00. The deadline to enter acts is Friday, 19 April.
